L. Zachary Carrion is a Texas attorney practicing in the area of oil and gas law, with a focus on mineral title examination. His practice involves researching and analyzing property records, reviewing chains of title, and examining mineral and leasehold interests

Before entering the oil and gas industry, Zachary practiced civil litigation, representing clients in insurance coverage disputes, commercial matters, and property-related litigation. His litigation experience provided a foundation in legal research, contract interpretation, and the analysis of complex legal issues.
Zachary earned his Juris Doctor from South Texas College of Law – Houston, where he served as an Associate Editor of the Corporate Counsel Review and as a member of the Dean’s Advisory Board. During law school, he was part of the championship team at the 2022 NLSSA Moot Court Competition. He has also published articles on topics involving corporate and competition law.

Zachary is licensed to practice law in Texas and is admitted to practice before the United States District Courts for the Northern, Southern, Eastern, and Western Districts of Texas.
